Jak przygotować glebę do wysiewu trawy i kiedy to zrobić?

Pierwszym, najważniejszym etapem zakładania każdego trawnika jest odpowiednie przygotowanie gleby. Wiosenny siew wykonujemy od połowy kwietnia do połowy maja. Pracami poprzedzającymi tę czynność należy jednak zająć się kilka tygodni wcześniej. Po zimie ogród musi się zregenerować. Opady śniegu czy deszczu, resztki materii roślinnej szczególnie utrudniają założenie murawy. Nie pomaga również sucha i zmrożona ziemia. W takiej sytuacji konieczne jest prawidłowe zadbanie o kondycję podłoża. Najpierw należy usunąć wszelkie niepożądane elementy – kamienie, suche gałęzie, opadłe liście czy zeszłoroczne rośliny. Później przyjdzie czas na przekopanie ziemi.

Dlaczego warto przekopywać trawnik?

Przekopywanie podłoża umożliwia spulchnienie go. Dzięki temu gleba będzie odpowiednio napowietrzona, co sprawi, że zasiane w niej rośliny będą miały więcej miejsca na rozwinięcie systemu korzeniowego. To zjawisko z kolei przełoży się na efektywniejsze pobieranie z podłoża składników pokarmowych. Tyczy się to również trawy – zasiana w spulchnionej ziemi lepiej się ukorzeni i szybciej urośnie. Jest jeszcze jeden plus – nasza murawa stanie się bardziej odporna na zmienne warunki atmosferyczne.

Kiedy i jak przekopywać trawnik?

Glebę spulchniamy około 3 tygodnie przed wysiewem trawy. Najbardziej optymalnym terminem będzie połowa marca. Wówczas dni są znacznie cieplejsze, a w nocy raczej nie zdarzają się przymrozki. Wszystko jednak zależy od bieżących warunków atmosferycznych – gdy ziemię pokrywa warstwa śniegu, lepiej wstrzymać się z przekopywaniem jej do przełomu marca i kwietnia.

Glebę przekopujemy na całej powierzchni przeznaczonej pod wysiew trawy. Robimy to na głębokość 20-25 cm. Zabieg możemy wykonać zarówno przy użyciu szpadla, jak i glebogryzarki. Ten drugi przyrząd jest szczególnie przydatny, gdy podłoże jest mocno zbite. Jeżeli gleba jest bardzo zwarta oraz gliniasta, konieczne może się dodatkowo okazać zmieszanie podłoża z piaskiem bądź drobnym żwirem frakcyjnym. Do gleb mało urodzajnych dodajmy żyzną ziemię kompostową bądź odkwaszony torf.

Jak przygotować glebę do wysiewu trawy i kiedy to zrobić?

To zjawisko z kolei przełoży się na efektywniejsze pobieranie z podłoża składników pokarmowych. Tyczy się to również trawy – zasiana w spulchnionej ziemi lepiej się ukorzeni i szybciej urośnie. Jest jeszcze jeden plus – nasza murawa stanie się bardziej odporna na zmienne warunki atmosferyczne.

Kiedy i jak przekopywać trawnik?

Glebę spulchniamy około 3 tygodnie przed wysiewem trawy. Najbardziej optymalnym terminem będzie połowa marca. Wówczas dni są znacznie cieplejsze, a w nocy raczej nie zdarzają się przymrozki. Wszystko jednak zależy od bieżących warunków atmosferycznych – gdy ziemię pokrywa warstwa śniegu, lepiej wstrzymać się z przekopywaniem jej do przełomu marca i kwietnia.

Glebę przekopujemy na całej powierzchni przeznaczonej pod wysiew trawy. Robimy to na głębokość 20-25 cm. Zabieg możemy wykonać zarówno przy użyciu szpadla, jak i glebogryzarki. Ten drugi przyrząd jest szczególnie przydatny, gdy podłoże jest mocno zbite. Jeżeli gleba jest bardzo zwarta oraz gliniasta, konieczne może się dodatkowo okazać zmieszanie podłoża z piaskiem bądź drobnym żwirem frakcyjnym. Do gleb mało urodzajnych dodajmy żyzną ziemię kompostową bądź odkwaszony torf.
