Szklarnia zimą: co warto wiedzieć o zimowej uprawie roślin w szklarni?

Szklarnia to idealne rozwiązanie dla osób, które chcą cieszyć się zielonymi uprawami właściwie przez cały rok. Taka konstrukcja zapewni ochronę przed mrozem czy śniegiem. Z tego względu rośliny będą mogły wzrastać nawet poza okresem wegetacji. Jakie gatunki najlepiej uprawiać w szklarni zimą?

Uprawa roślin w szklarni zimą

Już późną zimą będziemy mogli rozpocząć uprawę roślin w szklarni czy tunelach foliowych. Dzięki temu znacznie wcześniej nasze okazy przeniesiemy na zewnątrz. To oznacza zarówno dłuższy czas wegetacji, jak i obfitsze zbiory. Poza tym zimowa uprawa będzie całkowicie bezpieczna. Odpowiednio zabezpieczona szklarnia zapewnia stałą temperaturę, co jest istotne zwłaszcza dla roślin egzotycznych. Dodatkowo konstrukcja ochroni naszą zieleń przed działaniem niekorzystnych warunków atmosferycznych. Niegroźne więc naszym roślinom silne wiatry, opady śniegu czy mrozy. Ograniczamy więc w ten sposób ryzyko uszkodzenia roślin, zwłaszcza tych bardziej delikatnych.

Co uprawiać w szklarni zimą? Warzywa, zioła i rośliny ozdobne

Do uprawy szklarniowej zimą idealnie nada się sporo gatunków warzyw. Wśród nich można wybrać:

  • sałatę – jest odporna na niskie temperatury, a przy tym nie wymaga dużo światła;
  • szpinak – ma zdolność wzrostu w niesprzyjających warunkach pogodowych;
  • rzodkiewkę – rośnie szybko i radzi sobie w mroźniejszym klimacie;
  • kapustę – może być uprawiana przez całą zimę, bowiem jest odporna na mróz;
  • brokuły – wolą temperatury umiarkowane, ale przetrwają chłodniejsze miesiące w szklarni.

W szklarni czy w tunelu foliowym można uprawiać też wiele ziół. Szczególnie poleca się:

  • pietruszkę;
  • bazylię;
  • miętę;
  • rozmaryn;
  • oregano.

Ale to nie wszystko! W szklarniach możemy pokusić się również o uprawę roślin ozdobnych. Dzięki niej krzewy i kwiaty znacznie dłużej będą zdobić nasz ogród. Warto zdecydować się na:

  • kamelie;
  • azalie;
  • cyklameny;
  • pierwiosnki;
  • fiołki afrykańskie;
  • jaskry;
  • bukszpany;
  • rododendrony.
